Ukrainian PEOs studied experience of Lithuania

Recently, PEOs from Ukraine, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and the State enforcement service with the support of the EU-funded Project "Pravo-Justice", visited Lithuania with a study visit.

A number of EU countries that have introduced the Institute of private enforcement officers increased the percentage of enforcement of court decisions. One of the successful examples is Lithuania - аccording to a survey conducted in October 2017, trust in privat enforcement officers has increased to 71%.

Therefore, the Ukrainian delegation met representatives of the Chamber of Private enforcement officers, parliamentarians, judges of Lithuania, visited the offices of PEOs.

In particular on July 18 a scientific discussion was organized in the Chamber of Private enforcement officers of the Republic of Lithuania "Institute of police officers in Lithuania and Ukraine". The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine and PEOs from different regions - Kyiv, Odessa, Chernigiv, Dnipro, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania and the Ministry of Justice, members of the Seimas, judges, university professors and other guests.
