What people expect from the court and how they can contribute to the more effective judiciary?

We support people-driven and participatory justice.

We organised a meeting of the Inter-Regional Working Group in Lviv on August 22-23.

Participants discussed the achievements of the Justice Sector Reform Strategy and Action Plan 2015-2020 and priorities for or Justice Strategy 2020-2025.

Experts defined procedural changes in relation to the public's expectations, including the use of alternative dispute resolution, the involvement of magistrates, e-justice, court management, customer service, etc.

The discussion was attended by High Council of Justice member Viktor Hryshchuk, Team Leader of the EU Project Pravo-Justice Dovydas Vitkauskas, international experts of the Project Carsten Mahnke and Reda Moliene, Member of the Judicial Reform Council (2014-2019), Member of the High Council of Justice (2017-2019) Andriy Boyko, Member of the Council of Judges of Ukraine Halyna Dibrova and Judge of the Grand Chamber of the Supreme Court Dmitry Hudima and other experts.
