Vacancy of Key National Expert

EU Project "Pravo-Justice" is looking for national key expert that will be responsible for liaisoning with the beneficiaries of the Project, Project Partners and EUD as well as for support of the International Key Expert on e-Justice, drafting and editing of reports, preparing events, including the budget and logistics questions, etc.

Project Description: The EU-funded Pravo-Justice Project, led by Expertise France, assists the Ukrainian authorities in attaining the objectives of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement and the Justice Sector Reform Strategy and Action Plan 2015-2020 (JSRSAP). Component 4 of the Project (e-Justice), in particular, is intended to assist the Ukrainian authorities in automating justice sector business processes, and increasing the quality and accessibility of services. The Project has a budget of EUR 15 million, and will operate until the end of 2020. The permanent Project Team in Kyiv includes 3 international key experts, and 5 national key experts.

Mission Description:

The National Key-Expert for Component 4 (NKE4) will be recruited through a limited duration contract until the end of 2020. NKE4 will work closely with the International Key-Expert on e-Justice, and the rest of the Project Team. More specifically

He/she will provide: • Liaison with the beneficiaries of the Project, Project Partners, EUD; • Comprehensive support the International Key Expert on e-Justice; • Design and oversight of implementation of short-term expert missions (STEM); • Drafting and editing of reports and other Project deliverables; • Preparation of events, including the budget and logistics questions; • Communication support; • Information systems and other Project management support, where necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

The required candidate should have: • University degree in the field relevant to the assignment (i.e. law; International relations; Public Administration, other degree); • Fluency in written and spoken English; Ukrainian and/or Russian; • Adequate IT skills; • At least 3 years of work experience. • Previous experience in project implementation preferably within international environment would be considered an advantage.
