The Project supported the Ministry of Justice in institutionalising the monitoring role
The Project supported the Ministry of Justice in institutionalising the monitoring role of systemic pieces of legislation regulating the justice sector.
A comprehensive body of user surveys, expert assessments and other evidence was used to promote changes in 5 key components within MOJ competence - procedural codes, legal aid, forensic expertise, enforcement, bankrutpcy.
“Bottom-up and evidence-based policy-making is how we see our regulatory work. The permanent monitoring makes it happen”, says the Minister of Justice Denys Maliuska.
