The Project facilitates the development of a professional self-governance system of private enforcement officers

On March 1, the Association of Private Enforcement Officers of Ukraine and the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine with the support of the EU Project "Pravo-Justice" and the Office of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine organized the Congress of Private Enforcers of Ukraine.

Among discussion topics of the Congress - Report on the activities of the Association of Private Enforcement Officers of Ukraine in 2018, approval of the Strategy for the development of Association of Private Enforcement Officers of Ukraine in 2019-2024, the adoption of the final Resolution of the Congress.

The event was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine on issues of the executive service and the head of the Qualification Commission of Private Performers Svitlana Glushchenko. She emphasized the importance of popularizing the profession of a private enforcement officer, especially at the regional level, and also emphasized the importance of supporting the police in executing acts by private enforcement officers.

Private enforcement officers adopted the Strategy for the Development of the Association of Private Enforcemenf Officers of Ukraine and supported the proposal to establish an advisory body to the Disciplinary Commissioner, and to determine the procedure for his election and dismissal.
