MOJ shall prevent fragmented legislative initiatives in bankruptcy
The area of law-making in the sphere of bankruptcy is particularly challenging.
This was underlined during the presentation of the MOJ legislative monitoring report together with the Project.
“Bankruptcy is a complex regulatory area cutting across issues of judicial process, relationship of the State with private legal profession, criminal justice and law enforcement policy, corporate governance, financial and credit market, social policy, and the role of State in the economy. Let's make sure that one coordinator exists, ideally MOJ, to connect and dots and prevent fragmented legislative initiatives, whether they come directly from MPs or elsewhere,” says Team Leader Dovydas Vitkauskas.
