EU Project Pravo-Justice Received the Mediation Partner Award from the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation
EU Project Pravo-Justice received the Mediation Partner award from the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation for supporting the development of mediation in Ukraine.
This decoration has been awarded for making a contribution in one or more of the following areas:
- Reaching out on mediation: for active involvement in raising awareness of mediation among the wide public; in particular, for providing information about mediation, developing outreach materials, conducting trainings, seminars, or other events.
- Facilitating access to mediation: for promoting and increasing the availability of mediation services; in particular, by way of creating mediation centres/services, implementing mediation programmes, or setting up a hotline.
- Applying mediation: for the introduction of mediation into the system of conflict prevention and resolution in an organisation/institution; in particular, through the inclusion of mediation clauses in the contracts or internal policies.
- Promoting mediation: for contributing to the development of mediation in Ukraine; in particular, by way of conducting research, developing new approaches and tools, improving the legal regulation of mediation.
At the moment, more than 50 organisations, institutions, and other legal entities have received the award.
EU Project Pravo-Justice has been contributing to the development, promotion, and increase of public awareness of alternative dispute resolution methods, alongside the formation of a general culture of amicable conflict resolution. This is especially important in the context of Ukraine’s European integration, where building an effective justice system based on the principles of peaceful settlement of disputes is one of the key priorities.
We express our sincerest gratitude to the Ukrainian Academy of Mediation for the acknowledgement and hope for further fruitful cooperation for the development of mediation in Ukraine!
