The Regional Justice Reform Councils (RJRCs) were established in 2015 as part of the implementation of the Predecessor Project, designed to improve the exchange of information between central and local levels, to include the regions into policy development, and to measure the policies impact and their region-specific implementation challenges. On 22-23 August 2019, a meeting of the RJRCs Interregional Working Group (IRWG) took place, aimed at developing sector policy proposals with regard to people-driven and people-participatory justice. The IRWG in question consisted of thematic experts from all RJRCs regions and included judges, advocates, and academia. During the meeting, international and national Project experts assisted and provided their advice to IRWG.
